Initiating, budgeting, planning and implementing projects. Initiating and completing major capital and extraordinary maintenance projects according to budget. Co-responsible to ensure maximum plant availability regarding Instrumentation equipment and systems. Compiling detailed technical specifications. Quality control of projects, machinery, and installations. Improving the process availability of the plant. Providing technical support to the maintenance sections. Conducting failure analysis. Training of Instrumentation personnel. Liaising with outside companies and other sections within the works. Standby duties. Qualifications

National Diploma (NQF 6/10) in Electrical Engineering (Process Instrumentation). Experience and Requirements

Minimum 5 years' relevant experience. Experience in the Engineering environment. Sound knowledge of Instrumentation systems and the maintenance of measuring and control equipment. Extensive knowledge of analytical equipment. Extensive knowledge of systems networking. Computer literate in MS Projects, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in SAP PM modules is recommended. Superior knowledge and application of skills in fault-finding. Superior technical knowledge to be applied in relation to plant equipment. Experience in project work and planning.
