Automotive Technical Support Specialist

to join our global team. Working alongside Volkswagen Group's Technical Support Team, you’ll provide guidance and expertise to their Authorised Repairer Network, supporting workshops remotely and contributing to the resolution of challenging cases. This is your chance to transition into a professional environment where you can use your skills in diagnostics, repair, and problem-solving to make an impact without being on the workshop floor. The Role As an Automotive Technical Support Specialist, you’ll: Provide expert guidance and remote support to assist the retailer network with the identification of technical product issues and adherence to process. Work closely with the Retailers' technicians and the manufacturer's existing technical support team via specified communication channels. With your practical workshop experience, you will not only support the retailers, but you will also assist in the development of solutions to reduce the volume and improve the quality of inbound contact. Demonstrate a personal commitment to DEKRA Automotive Ltd’s Environmental & Quality Management System. To succeed in this role, you’ll need: Proven success in diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, with a strong focus on electrical/electronic systems. Broad experience across all aspects of vehicle repairs. Familiarity with Volkswagen Group systems like ELSA & ODIS is advantageous. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly. High attention to detail and the ability to work within established processes. A flexible, proactive mindset and the ability to manage your time effectively. Volkswagen Group accreditation or qualifications as a technician are a bonus, but not essential.
