A global operator within the Utilities industry is currently undergoing significant growth and adding talent across the business to help with the continued growth.
The business specializes in the manufacturing and service of pumps across a variety of industries.
They are currently looking for a Pump Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
On offer is a salary of circa £35,000 plus benefits and significant opportunities to progress in the business.
Key duties:
Submit quotations within agreed timescales Ensure that orders are correctly entered into the SAP system once received SAP is updated with correct information daily Produce accurate cost calculations and quotations for manufacture, repair or servicing of components Liaise with other departments on available capacity, raw material, subcontract requirements Frequent contact with clients to clarify tender requirements and negotiate on cost or delivery Achievement of department KPIs All documents prepared are in adherence to specifications and deadlines Negotiate price and delivery with vendors Work with vendors to ensure quality, delivery and cost requirements are met Regularly communicate with sales on status of repair orders Interact and provide repair status direct to customers Work with workshop personnel, sales, engineering and customers to define repair and scheduling requirements Develop base cost for all jobs, parts orders, RFQs, etc., which includes labour, material and outside services Schedule workflow to ensure delivery requirements are met and facility resources are used efficiently (e.g., engineering, vendors, etc.) Provide technical responses to customers/vendors when necessary
