£34,000 to £44,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A) Manchester city centre, in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and the office. 12-month fixed term contract We’re looking for a Nutrition Manager to join our Co-op Brand team. You’ll play an important role in delivering Co-op’s strategy to deliver healthy and sustainable diets for all. We’ll look to you to be our in-house subject matter expert, advising our internal teams and representing our Co-op externally. Within this role you’ll have the opportunity to really improve the health and wellbeing of our customers, making a difference across the communities we serve. What you’ll do Collaborate with our data and tech teams to manage the monitoring and reporting against key nutritional targets and commitments, using internal systems and external data platforms Work to drive sales of healthier products by collaborating with relevant teams across Co-op Provide nutritional leadership and direction to colleagues including product developers and technologists Use your nutrition and regulatory knowledge to support the delivery of our healthy and sustainable diets strategy Support the Senior Nutrition Manager in building strong relationships with external organisations who can support delivery of our healthy and sustainable diets strategy, including strategic suppliers and NGOs Monitor and proactively research the external landscape on nutrition and healthy and sustainable diets This role would suit people who have A Nutrition, Food Science or related degree or worked experience as a nutritionist in a retailer or manufacturer Registration with the Association for Nutrition with good knowledge of nutrition legislation and government policy priorities The ability to handle data and reporting An understanding of healthy and sustainable diets The ability to network and build strong relationships with internal and external partners Why Co-op?
