The Consultancy Group is partnering with a prominent global manufacturing business headquartered in London, with strategic offices across Europe and Singapore. Over the past two decades, the company has executed several strategic acquisitions, resulting in a diverse portfolio of independently functioning entities. The organisation is embarking on a comprehensive Finance Transformation Programme to achieve operational cohesion and efficiency. This transformative initiative, spanning three years, is focused on seamlessly integrating these distinct businesses into a cohesive whole. The primary objective is to implement a standardised ERP system, particularly SAP S/4HANA, alongside streamlining associated processes. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Technology and Integration Lead to drive the success of this pivotal programme. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive Data Technology and Integration strategy to support the Finance Transformation Programme’s objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and external partners to identify data integration requirements and develop technology solutions. Design and implement data integration frameworks and architecture, ensuring seamless data flow between legacy systems and the unified ERP platform (SAP S/4HANA). Oversee the development of data migration plans and strategies, ensuring accurate and efficient data transition from existing systems to the new ERP. Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of appropriate data integration tools, technologies, and solutions that align with the organisation’s needs. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that data architecture and structures are optimised to support data integration and reporting needs. Manage the execution of data technology projects, including resource allocation, budget management, and timeline tracking. Provide subject matter expertise on SAP S/4HANA data structures and integration points, particularly within the context of supply chain operations. Monitor data integration processes and data quality metrics, identifying and addressing anomalies and inefficiencies. Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data governance policies and practices. Communicate progress, challenges, and insights related to data technology and integration to executive leadership and stakeholders. Requirements: Substantial experience (minimum 5-7 years) in data technology, integration, and architecture, particularly within SAP environments, with a focus on supply chain operations. Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures and integration mechanisms, enabling effective alignment of data technology with ERP processes. Proven experience in developing and implementing data integration frameworks, technologies, and best practices. Extensive background in data migration strategies and execution. Proficiency in data integration tools, ETL processes, APIs, and middleware solutions. Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
