£39,000–£40,000 (plus 33% shift allowance for night shifts) Hours:
40 hours per week Role Overview:
As a CNC Machinist, you will: Set and operate CNC Mill-Turn machines to produce components from engineering drawings. Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and HSE regulations. Inspect your own work for precision and accuracy. Perform preventative and general maintenance checks. Produce components to required standards efficiently and within deadlines. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to 5S principles. Demonstrate excellent timekeeping, attendance, and a strong work ethic. Key Requirements:
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Skilled in setting and operating CNC Mill-Turn machines. Experienced in editing and proving out CNC programs. Competent in using a range of measuring equipment. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. A proactive team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude. Self-motivated and committed to high standards of workmanship. Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating CNC machines. Apprenticeship trained or time-served in a relevant discipline. Experience in the oil and gas industry is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls is highly desirable.
