Our client is a well-established family-run business specialising in perforated metal and wire mesh products, with over 60 years of industry experience and is looking for someone on a permanent basis to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone with strong metal fabrication experience looking to join a reputable company with a supportive working environment.
As a Metal Fabricator, your duties will be:
Perform welding, cutting, bending, folding, and assembly tasks. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to meet project requirements. Ensure high-quality production with attention to detail. Use various hand tools and maintain fabrication equipment. Adhere to safety standards within the fabrication environment. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality. Contribute to team efforts, ensuring project timelines are met.
The successful Metal Fabricator will have the following skills:
Experience: 10 years plus in metal fabrication. Certification: Formal apprenticeship or certification in Metal Fabrication or Welding. Welding Skills: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding. Material Knowledge: Experience with High Tensile Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Mild Steel, Corteen/Core 10. Attributes: Analytical, multitasking, eager to learn and share knowledge, adaptable, and team-oriented.

Must have your own transport or live locally due to the site location. Willingness to travel to the company’s Head Office in Ireland for training as needed.
