Manpower Cambridge are currently recruiting for a Lab Assistant for our exciting manufacturing client based in Stowmarket, easily commutable from the A14, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Diss & Sudbury.

Mon - Fri, working rotating weekly shifts. Shift 1: 07:30am - 4:00pm and Shift 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Availability:
Immediate start date
You will assist the colourist with formulation weighing, either manually or via an FFM machine. Your role will also involve spraying formulas by hand or machine.
Requirements: Ability to work in a team with flexibility, good communication skills, and planning skills. Good ability to work with numbers, weighing to 0.05g accuracy. Good organisation and coordination skills. Competency needs to be achieved within 2 weeks. Understanding of safety initiatives. Good housekeeping standards. Ability to work largely unsupervised to meet team targets.
Must have: Good colour vision. Ability to retain a working knowledge of the paint systems used in the lab. Ability to prepare colour panels. Ability to work with colour assessors and matchers internally. If you are interested in the role, please apply!
