St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, United Kingdom Summary

St Albans District Fixers are seeking a volunteer to help organise and run our repair fairs. This will involve in-person support on the day and admin support. Detailed description

St Albans District Fixers run repair fairs throughout the year in different venues across the district. Members of the community can bring electronics, clothing and other items to be repaired by our fantastic team of fixers. We are looking for a volunteer with availability on the day of the fairs (Saturdays spread throughout the year) to help with the smooth running of the events, including set up and clear up. In between fairs, this person would be available to liaise with venues and help promote the upcoming fairs via social media. This role would be supported by the link trustee. Together we find positive and creative ways to act locally to raise awareness and address the challenges of climate change; live more sustainably and move towards a low-carbon economy.
