Job Title: Electronic Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities: Test, fault find, and repair various electrical or electronic systems and components of rotary steerable systems. Work with Measurement While Drilling tools, Specialised Measurement tools, and Rechargeable Batteries for Downhole use. Collaborate with engineering and quality driven manufacturing teams, including Mechanical manufacturing Technicians and supervisors. Integrate and test electrical and electromechanical tools. Maintain and repair test equipment used for tool testing. Qualifications: Electronic technician experience with testing. Low and high voltage experience. Basic soldering, crimping, and assembly skills. Basic fault finding and rectification at system and component level. Further education in Electrical or Electronic engineering (ONC, HNC, HND, NVQ Level 2). Ability to work within design constraints. Proficient with Multi-meter, Oscilloscope, Low Voltage Power Supplies, and High Voltage Power Supply (up to 400VDC) for measurements and debugging of electromechanical assemblies. Deliverables: Producing deliverable items from full drawing packs with minimal additional help to relevant IPC standards.
