Operate Loading Shovel, as directed by Site Management, in a safe and proper manner. Operate mobile and static plant safely. Undertake general maintenance works as required by Heidelberg Materials. Perform other duties within their scope in accordance with Site Management recommendations. Maintain mobile and static equipment in good order, including re-fueling, greasing, and cleaning. Ensure all plant is operated as economically as possible. Complete daily inspection sheets of the conditions of mobile plant. Report problems or defects of mobile plant to the Production Supervisor. Complete near miss reports as required by Site Management. Experience and Qualifications
Ability to operate mobile plant as required. Adhere to the company health & safety policy. Adhere to the Quarry Regulations 1999. Comply with the Company Environmental Policy. Good general education required to understand health and safety regulations and Quarry Regulations. Certification by EPIC to operate mobile plant. NVQ level 2 in mobile plant operations required following EPIC completion. What’s on Offer:
