Building Control Inspector
Class 2 A- F
Must be registered to at least Class 2A
Salary up to £70,000 plus benefits package
A new role with the flexibility to work from home with existing clients based around South Wales. The Building Inspector will be responsible for plan checking and site inspections in the local area. This is ideally suited to a surveyor who values training and development while getting a good work/life balance.
About the Role
You will work in a team of Registered Building Inspectors who cover residential and small commercial projects around South Wales. You can either cover parts of Newport or Cardiff, whichever is more local to you. Ideally, you'll be local to one of these areas or happy to cover sites around there. You will be expected to complete 15 - 20 inspections a week and a maximum of 5 plan checks. There isn't a KPI culture, and they value getting along as a team with a manager who doesn't feel like a 'boss'. Benefits:
