Job Description: TIG Welder
Location: Tyseley Pay Rate: £14.42 per hour Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM Overtime: Paid at 1.5x

Position Overview:
As a TIG Welder/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in crafting bespoke products, working primarily with stainless steel (99%) and occasionally aluminium (1%). You will handle material thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 6mm, with most projects involving 1-3 units of the same design. This role requires a high level of skill in TIG welding and fabrication to ensure that every product meets our exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium materials.
Fabricate bespoke components to precise specifications.
Work with material thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 6mm.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
Ensure all products meet quality standards before delivery.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
Occasionally work overtime, with additional pay at 1.5x the regular rate.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator, particularly with stainless steel.
Strong understanding of TIG welding techniques and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Experience with bespoke fabrication and handling small production runs.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime, including Saturdays.
