We're partnering with a forward-thinking manufacturer specialising in precision subassemblies for electromechanical products and entering high-profile industries such as aerospace, defence, and nuclear. With a proud history of producing highly precise products, they're on an ambitious journey to diversify their customer base and grow the business.

This is a critical role, reporting directly to senior leadership, where you will shape the Quality function as they navigate this exciting growth phase.

About the Role:

As Quality Manager, you will: Maintain and enhance the QMS, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Lead investigations into customer quality issues, implementing robust CAPA processes. Drive the structured NPI process, ensuring a seamless FAIR process. Spearhead the attainment of AS9100 accreditation with new orders secured in the aerospace sector. Manage internal audits, SOP adherence, and MRB processes. Work with the leadership team to build a culture of quality for all employees.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will: Have experience transitioning to or managing AS9100 systems. Bring a strong background in CNC precision machining and assembly. Thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Demonstrate a proven ability to reduce costs of poor quality and develop meaningful KPIs. Show capability as an experienced Quality Manager or a high-potential Quality Engineer ready to step up.

On a personal level, you'll need a pragmatic approach, a positive attitude, and the ability to challenge constructively while fostering collaboration.

What's on Offer: Salary:

£40,000 - £45,000 DOE Benefits:

8.5-hour shifts Monday to Thursday, shorter Fridays.
