Construction Designer (CAD / Revit) - Gloucestershire Salary £35,000 - £42,000 d.o.e Are you an experienced Construction Design professional with a passion for creating designs and a knack for working with Project Managers and Clients ensuring that projects are drawn accurately using your technical expertise and then managed from concept to completion? This role is becoming available due to an internal promotion, showcasing the company's commitment to career development and growth into another area of their business. Location:

Candidates must reside within 1 hour of Gloucester and possess a valid driving license for site visits. This Client is situated not far from Junction 11 of the M5 and has parking on site. Key Responsibilities:

Drawing Preparation: * Produce AutoCAD/ REVIT drawings based on structural engineers' and architects' specifications or site surveys. * Prepare designs from tender documents and obtain necessary approvals. Project Support: * Support Project Managers with ongoing project requirements. * Understand procurement timelines and ensure materials and labour align with project deadlines. Cost Management: * Deliver value-engineered solutions while maintaining project budgets. * Assist Project Managers with monitoring and managing costs effectively. * Advise on the benefits of sustainability, cost, efficiency, appearance and impact on build programmes and lead times. Client and Team Liaison: * Maintain strong relationships through regular communication with customers, site operatives, and external partners. Site Surveys & Meetings: * Conduct site surveys to take precise measurements for design purposes. * Attend project meetings and post-completion reviews to ensure client satisfaction. Requirements:

Proven experience in Construction Design, including a strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks. Excellent understanding of procurement processes and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Must be a driver with the flexibility to attend site visits and meetings. Why Join this Client's Design Team?
