Your new role As Quality Systems & Safety Management System Manager you will be required to provide leadership and direction for the Quality Systems team, and to the wider factory of product safety issues. The supplier Quality Manager will work closely with the wider Quality team to drive improvement in our quality system, maintain regulatory approval, and with the implementation of a safety management system in the organisation. As a Level 2 manager within the business, the post holder will be expected to work closely with the wider Level 2 team to achieve business objectives. You will lead and direct team activities focusing on system updates due to regulatory changes or recurring themes within the business, the Internal audit programme to fulfil regulatory requirements, and use the audit programme to drive continuous improvement in the organisation, implement and develop a world-class safety management system to support the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

Engineering or technical degree Safety Management experience including Human Factors Knowledge of accident/incident occurrence investigation and hazard identification and risk analysis Experience with problem solving and root cause analysis methodologies Significant experience of Quality Systems, including 21g, 145, safety management system, AS9100 and ISO9001 requirements 5+ years' success in a Quality system position with a 3+ years' successful experience in a quality leadership role Experience working with customers, regulators and suppliers Strong leader capable of working successfully in a matrix organisation, as part of a cross-functional team to drive impactful results Experience in working with and managing relationships Experience in developing processes and procedures to support a growing complex organisation
