Senior Process Design Engineer Location: Cookstown Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum plus package (negotiable subject to experience) Type: Full Time - Permanent (Hybrid) 2-3 days in the office

Are you a driven process engineer seeking fresh challenges? We are seeking a Chartered Senior Process Design Engineer to join permanently & take ownership of process design for water and wastewater treatment projects overseeing design, testing, and commissioning while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable water treatment solutions Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and hydraulic calculations Develop technical specifications, drawings, and documentation Support the commissioning and start-up of treatment plants Ensure project delivery within budget and time constraints Apply your expertise in feasibility studies, simulations, and hydraulic calculations

What we require from you

8 years of experience in process engineering ideally in water or wastewater Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field. Chartered status or working towards. Proven track record of managing complex water treatment projects Familiarity with sustainability initiatives, energy efficiency, and circular economy concepts in water management Expertise in engineering disciplines, and knowledge of environmental regulations. Knowledge and application of Process Simulation Software (e.g., BioWin, Aspen HYSYS)
