Are you a talented Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? Our esteemed client, a leading expert in Steel Fabrication, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of various projects within the steel fabrication industry. Key Responsibilities: Conducting cost estimates and preparing tender documents for steel fabrication projects. Collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop accurate project budgets. Evaluating subcontractor quotations and negotiating favourable terms. Monitoring project costs and implementing cost control measures. Performing cost analysis and producing detailed reports for stakeholders. Managing variations and assessing the financial impact on projects. Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve any commercial issues. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the steel fabrication industry. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control techniques. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools. Effective communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Interviews have already commenced so do not hesitate to apply.
