The intern will assist in the development and deployment of Manufacturing Best Practices. This is a paid internship and has a start date of mid-May and ends in mid-late August 2025. Job Responsibilities - About the role - you'll need to:

Assist in the Reduction of Cycle Times Assist in improved document control Assist in improving scrap rates Conduct Cycle Time Studies Assist in the development of Best Practices Develop tighter document controls Work with team to identify/improve processes for both cost and time savings Assist in design and prototyping of: Jigs, fixtures, etc. Assist in developing and maintaining 6S throughout the facility Required Skills - About you - you'll need:

Currently pursuing a Manufacturing or General Engineering degree Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent attention to detail required Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis on Excel. SolidWorks/AutoCAD experience are very beneficial Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Ability to work independently OR ability to work with a team and be an enthusiastic team player Standing/Sitting for long periods of time. Working in a manufacturing environment.
