We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our team in our Altens workshop.

Position

Strip down, Inspection and Reassembly of Heat Exchangers. Knowledge of Shell, Tube, and Plate Heat Exchangers, Motor Coolers, Fin Fans and Radiators. Undertake Hydrotesting. Flange Management - Manual and Hydraulic Torquing and Tension. Tube Expansion and Plugging. General Mechanical/Pipe Fitting Duties.

Experience

Experience and knowledge of repairing all types of Heat Exchangers preferred. Mechanical Fitting/Maintenance background. Experience of major petrochemical/refinery shutdowns. Ability to read engineering drawings. Willingness to work both onshore & offshore as and when required.

Desirable

Experience of working on COMAH Tier 1 sites/Offshore Installations preferred. TMJ 10, 18 and 19 certifications. ECITB - CCNSG Safety Passport or IOSH Working Safely. Offshore certification. Recognised HSE qualification / IOSH.
