Production Team Leader

£26,801.21 + TPOH Bonus and Overtime (Overtime payable at time and one half Mon-Sat, double time on Sunday)
8.00am to 4.00pm Mon-Thurs, 8.00am to 3.00pm Fri – 39 hours per week with a daily paid break of 30 minutes
You’ll be responsible for a team of Production Operators within our yard in Barnsley to ensure that our operations run smoothly. No two days will be the same; you will be involved in various tasks such as driving machinery when required or carrying out team briefings. You will be the first point of contact for the team, so you’ll be happy to get stuck in and resolve problems when needed.
You’ll have previous experience managing people with a hands-on approach. Ideally, you will have an understanding of Warehouse or Yard Management as you will be responsible for loading wagons and traceability across the yard. What’s most important for us is that you have a positive and pro-active approach to managing your team and encounter difficulties with a problem-solving mindset.
You’ll be joining one of the largest suppliers of steel reinforcement and associated products for concrete. Our finished products can be found in iconic projects such as the Severn Cross, Wembley Stadium, and the Shard.
