The Boys’ Division is seeking to appoint a part time (17.5 hours) Design Technology Technician to provide technical, practical and administrative support to the Department of Design, Technology and Engineering, to enable the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning. There may be a possibility of the hours increasing as the department grows.
Main Duties:
Supporting teachers during workshop lessons.
Preparing and assisting with practical sessions.
Undertaking repairs and general maintenance.
Completing administrative tasks such as stock control and maintaining Health and Safety records.
Taking deliveries.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a practical environment, possess excellent time-management skills, have the ability to patiently assist children, and be computer literate. Experience as a school technician is desirable but not essential.
