Overview Car sale administrators help to hire out vehicles to businesses and the public. They handle all the administration and enquiries involved with renting vehicles. They may also be known as reservation, leasing, customer service or sales agents. Duties Answer questions from customers about prices and which vehicles are available Take bookings and explain the terms of rental agreements Complete paperwork, update computer records and take payments Record a car's condition and make notes of any existing bumps or scratches Explain and demonstrate any special features Check mileage and inspect for damage on returned vehicles Do customer 'call-backs' to check their satisfaction with the service Provide ongoing service and sales support to regular business accounts Experience Proven experience in a sales OR car mechanic related environment. Proficiency in the use of basic computer software is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent time management skills to prioritise workload effectively. Strong communication skills. Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, is essential for this role.
