Your new firm A reputable practice based in Chester is seeking to appoint an Accounts Manager to join their team due to ongoing growth of the firm. Your new role As Accounts Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients, review statutory year-end accounts and liaise directly with your clients, ensuring positive relationships and an excellent service is given. Your clients will consist mostly of SMEs, limited companies and corporate partnerships. You will manage a team of accounts staff and provide on-the-job training and support. You will attend and present at meetings and get involved with other duties such as business development.

What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working as an Accounts Manager or Assistant Manager in a practice environment, ideally managing a team of staff and a portfolio of clients. You will ideally be ACCA/ACA qualified or a finalist or qualified by experience (QBE). You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills to assist in building strong client relationships, as well as a good knowledge of accounting software.
