About the job

The Pre-Sales team is looking for a Pre-Sales Advisor-Fraud to provide specialized customer advisory in the areas of fraud within the Government, Commercial, and Manufacturing sectors. You will have the opportunity to work with leading industry companies to support the opportunity lifecycle. Your focus would be on building trusted relationships with key business and IT stakeholders, advising on technology, and providing solution best practices in the areas of fraud (Payment Integrity, Know Your Supplier, Spend Optimization, and Healthcare Fraud, etc.).

As a Pre-Sales Advisor-Fraud, you will:

Support the growth of SAS’s fraud footprint in the Northern European region.

Evaluate customers’ current fraud programs and advise on strategic roadmaps to help them leverage next-generation technology.

Collaborate with a team of experts (business advisors, solution experts, architects, and delivery managers) to deliver the optimal customer experience.

Maintain and expand your network within the industry by presenting at and attending leading industry conferences.

Develop and implement demos or PoCs utilizing SAS software.

Design reusable assets, for example, strategic customer advisory materials, fraud assessments/health checks, accelerators, new offerings, etc.

Advance best practices & thought leadership while contributing to and participating in the global SAS Fraud community including domain expertise, competitive landscape, emerging trends, etc.

Required Qualifications

At least five years of experience in sales, business partner relationship development, or technical functions within the technology industry (including related products and services).

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics or other quantitative field related to the area of assignment.

Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Fraud experience gained through presales activities, sales engineering, or sales support experience; consulting on fraud implementations; or as a practitioner in fraud detection, investigation, or operations space. ACFE, ACAMS, or similar certifications are nice to have.

Demonstrated business, thought, and people skills.

Client-facing experience presenting and engaging at a variety of levels within the business.

Ability to engage with a number of profiles such as sales, accounts, technical, or industry experts.

Capable of learning, explaining, and/or using a variety of technologies and analytical techniques.

Industry experience in Government, Manufacturing, or Commercial.

You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.

Preferred Qualifications

Curiosity for knowledge is key, due to the ever-changing patterns/techniques/technology leveraged to commit fraud and financial crimes.

Strong presentation skills.

Eager to learn new technologies.

Comfortable discussing ideas with C-Level stakeholders.

Works well with and can drive opportunities towards a specific goal.

Willingness to travel throughout the Northern European (UK, Ireland, Nordics) region to support opportunities.
