Graduate Civil Engineer
Specialising in Highways & Drainage Design
Location: Taunton
Salary: up to GBP29,000
I am on the lookout for an ambitious Graduate Civil Engineer to join an expanding Infrastructure team in a successful civil/structural design consultancy in the Taunton office. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in Highways design, including Section 278 & Section 38, and Drainage design, including Section 104 & SuDS.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be expected to quickly adapt to new software design packages, including AutoCAD, Site 3D, and Infodrainage. You will work collaboratively as part of a team, focusing on highways and drainage design infrastructure for both residential and commercial developments. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will take a supporting role in the production of preliminary and detailed designs, technical reports, drawings, and specifications primarily for private developers.
Requirements:
Strong technical skills and a willingness to learn and mentor others. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Site 3D, and Infodrainage. An interest in highways and drainage infrastructure design for both residential and commercial developments.
