Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fabricator/Welder at Steelway Protect in Newcastle. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel components, interpreting blueprints, operating welding equipment and ensuring the quality of finished products. Keep accurate records of electrical work performed. Fabricating Sheetmetal components - 3mm Mild Steel / Mig Welding.
Dressing must be to a good standard. Fabricating Structural Steel components in 6-15mm Mild Steel / Mig Welding. Candidate must be able to read Engineering drawings and be able to work on their own or as part of a team if required. Qualifications
Proficiency in fabrication and welding techniques. Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Experience in operating welding equipment. Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in welding. Strong attention to detail and quality of work. Physical dexterity and strength for manual tasks.
