Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Market Deeping, Peterborough.
Salary: £25-40,000 Benefits: Car or allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, bonus, progression.
Our client has traditional contracting roots and is now turning over in excess of £40m a year, focusing on affordable housing, commercial, industrial, and private developments. Their work is largely in social housing residential projects ranging from £4-15m.
They maintain a traditional approach with their own workforce of almost 50 tradespeople, ensuring the highest levels of quality and consistency across every project.
This family-run contractor is now in its 3rd generation and has been established for over 45 years.
They have a very low staff turnover, with the longest-serving Site Manager having been with the company for 40 years, contributing to a happy and motivated workforce.

The Role - Assistant Quantity Surveyor You will be office-based with site visits, and sites are within 1.5 hours of the office.
You will join a commercial team of 10, led by an Associate Director.
Your projects will range from around £4m-£15m, primarily focusing on social housing contracts under JCT D&B.
The right person - Assistant Quantity Surveyor You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with residential experience, either with a main contractor or a private or PLC developer.
You will hold a qualification of HNC or above in a construction-related discipline.
