Cabin Fitter - Industrial Equipment - Wigan, Manchester - Up to £33,000 About the Company Great opening to join a small company with big ambitions and great reputation. This is a role that offers the opportunity to really make your mark and shape processes during a time of growth. We are looking for someone to join us who is willing to take responsibility for refurbishing and spraying our mobile welfare units to the highest of standards to maintain our reputation as the lead supplier of mobile welfare units on the used market. You will have great attention to detail, enormous self-pride in your work and be willing to work in a small, close-knit team. This is a Monday to Friday role based in Wigan with occasional travel for warranty work and overtime is available.

Cabin Fitter - Requirements Basic joinery and plumbing skills are required to prepare our portable accommodation units for hire. Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues. Flexible and self-motivated; you’ll be keen to embrace new training opportunities, which may on occasion require staying away from home. Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service. A strong attention to detail. The ability to ensure all works are completed to a high standard within a tight timescale.

Cabin Fitter - Responsibilities Stripping units of all externally fitted parts. Prepping and making good any bodywork. Identifying any areas which require work by the welder. Straightening any doors if necessary. Cutting and fitting any new internal door cards. Floor repairs. Reupholster seat covers. Minor internal joinery. Management of parts and materials. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
