Fabricator

Fabricator Randstad are recruiting for experienced Fabricator to come and work at Hinckley Point C on a permanent basis. This position is paying £27.12 per hour. You will be required to work 10 days on, 4 days off - 10 hour day shifts. The overall package also includes an accommodation allowance of £337 per week and travel expenses covered once a month too. The role: Using a variety of processes, carry out skilled plating, fabrication and welding work including inspection, planning, preparation and cutting, checking/testing; to fabricate, repair, maintain and install metal items. Perform allocated tasks to meet applicable safety standards, targets, criteria and deadlines and to maximise productivity and profitability. You will report into the Welding Supervisor and work collaboratively with other internal trades in the production team. The ideal candidate will have: Weld qualifications to BS EN 9606 in TIG & GMAW and to have completed an appropriate apprenticeship (e.g. ECITB, CITB, NASEC or company training scheme). Possess a CCNSG Safety Passport and ideally IOSH Managing Safety certification. Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
