CNC Supervisor
Bradford, up to 40,500pa, day shift, permanent role
Machine Shop Supervisor required for a permanent role in Bradford. You will be responsible for managing a small team of Machinists, ensuring the delivery and quality of precision parts.
You will have excellent milling and turning skills with the ability to program in Fanuc and Siemens. The role may suit someone looking for the next step in their career.
Your role as CNC Machine Shop Supervisor will include:
Production Planning and coordination of production schedules
Ensuring and optimising production process, troubleshooting problems and implementing improvements
Working with the QMS and ensuring standards
People management including training, development and motivation, performance, ensuring quality output, maintaining discipline, managing attendance, holidays, and shift schedules
Ensuring machine maintenance, availability of material and tooling
Liaising with customers and internal team to resolve problems
Ensure Health and Safety
Skills required:
Apprentice trained and experienced Manual and CNC Machinist
Able to interpret complex drawings and specifications
Must be able to programme various CNC systems (Fanuc and Siemens)
Inspect and troubleshoot tools and fixtures
Ability to quote new work from drawings and onboard it through NPI processes
Strong leadership and team management skills
Intermediate computer skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Knowledge of quality systems and H&S regulations
Strong organisational and communication skills
Standard hours:
8.00 to 16.30 Monday to Thursday (30 mins Lunch Break)
8.00 to 15.30 Friday (30 mins Lunch Break)
Total 39 hours per week
Holidays 29 days per year raising to 34
