Our client is a fledgling Main Contractor with a regional office located in Tamworth. They currently enjoy a turnover of £90 million and operate within 2 key sectors: Multi-rooms & Industrial Warehouse, with the majority of the schemes that they deliver being of a new build nature. Project values range from £5 million up to £20 million with schemes being procured on both a negotiated and competitive basis. About The Role: As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play an integral role in the management, direction, and successful completion of our building projects. Working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor to develop, learn, and grow, your focus is to manage build cost and maximize margin whilst enhancing value for money for our clients and achieving the required standards and quality. About You: • Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor • Reside within commutable distance of Birmingham • Previous experience on Industrial or Multirooms projects (Preferred but not essential) • Experience of working within the Construction industry for a main contractor.
