predominantly for the pharmaceutical industry and is looking for an
Electrical Design Draughtsman
to work within a small team to produce electrical drawings and panel layouts. If you are an Electrical Design Engineer with an in-depth knowledge of
EPLAN P8
and
Pro Panel 3D , then this could be the opportunity you have been looking for. Duties: The Electrical Design Engineer will work alongside Automation Technicians to produce
electrical wiring diagrams for electrical control systems . Assist in the transfer of drawings from
AutoCAD
to EPLAN. Work with the rest of the Automation Department to agree on methods of working and drawing standards. Generate
electrical drawings and panel layouts . Provide supporting electrical documentation such as BoM's, Component Lists, and Cable Schedules. Ensure all electrical drawings are updated promptly throughout the lifecycle of the project and shared with all relevant departments. Maintain a database to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project. Requirements: Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with an in-depth knowledge of EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel 3D is a necessity. Apprentice trained and/or a formal Electrical Engineering Qualification is essential. A systematic approach to work with great attention to detail is required. An EPLAN Certified Engineer (ECE) qualification is preferable. Experience of working with
automated production machinery
or other similar
capital equipment . Must be flexible with a willingness to learn to expand the scope of knowledge. Experience gained working within a project environment in cross-functional project teams. Benefits: 37.5 hours per week on a flexitime basis. 23 days holiday plus discretionary days and bank holidays. Life and accident insurance available immediately. Pension scheme available after 3 months with company contribution of up to 8% after 2 years' service. Private healthcare scheme after 2 years.
