£13 p/h, moving to £13.50 p/h after successful probation TEMP TO PERM POSITION Staffing Match, a trusted provider of logistics and distribution solutions, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Setter & Operator to join our team. This role involves ensuring the accurate setup and efficient operation of production lines to deliver high-quality results while adhering to specifications. Key Responsibilities as Machine Setter Operator / Machine Operative: Setup and Preparation : Prepare production lines and components per specifications.
Adjust nozzles, capping machines, and labels to meet requirements.
Perform cleaning and changeovers efficiently.
Line Operation : Operate lines to meet or exceed speed targets.
Conduct quality checks and address issues promptly.
Handle components, shrink film, and label changes as needed.
Team Support and Training : Assist and train operatives, addressing skill gaps.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Quality and Safety Compliance : Ensure finished products meet specifications. Perform regular checks and address deviations. Technical Assistance : Support engineers and address minor production issues.
Requirements as Machine Setter Operator
/ Machine Operative: Experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail and strong manual dexterity. Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and efficiency. Must be honest, hardworking, enthusiastic, and reliable.
