Job Responsibilities

This position manages all aspects of the company's Mid-Sized Tractors (100-180 Engine Horsepower), Hay & Forage Equipment business including marketing, inventory, training, events and initiatives for these segments. Job responsibilities include: Build and maintain relationships with dealership Store Managers and Sales Representatives to implement marketing strategies across the organization that resonate with end-use customers. Analyze and forecast industry trends to develop and fulfill equipment unit sales budgets to achieve company market share objectives. Assist in the structure and presentation of customer deals to optimize sales incentives and retail financing. Inventory management including configuration and ordering of stock equipment inventory. Coordinate internal and external events including equipment demonstrations and presence at farm shows. Develop, coordinate and deliver internal sales training initiatives. Monitor competitive equipment offerings and sales incentives. Manage the supplier relationship with John Deere and other relevant suppliers. Preferred Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Equipment Sales, Sales or Marketing Management. An individual with a positive outlook who can proactively work with a diverse team. Extensive industry connections in our local trade area and out of area geographies. Understand retail finance offerings and how to structure customer proposals. Sound financial metrics knowledge as it relates to inventory control and sales management. Familiarity with John Deere and competitive brands of equipment. Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands. Familiar with standard desktop applications including Microsoft Office and internet functions. Ability to adapt to new and evolving technology.
