Please note that salary will be pro-rated for less than 37 hours per week.

The position is available at Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre, to undertake a range of cleaning duties within the Leisure Centre as required. Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre provides first-class facilities to the local community: Two Swimming Pools Sauna & Steam Health Suite Gym Outdoor 5 a side 3G Football, Tennis and Netball courts Sports Hall Dance Studio Café The Centre, which is open all year round 361 days a year and attracts well over a quarter of a million visits each year, plays a crucial role in delivering exercise, fitness and sporting activities to the local communities and beyond. We are looking to recruit an individual who is a team player, an excellent communicator, and has a passion to deliver exceptional customer service. We are seeking someone who can work on their own initiative and as part of a Centre Team, can foster good relations with other colleagues and our facility users to ensure our facilities, particularly our public areas, are kept clean and safe for everyone. The post holder will be required to work evenings Monday to Friday, including some public holidays. Disclosure Scotland checks will apply. PVG / Disclosure Scotland

Successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment being made by East Dunbartonshire Council. Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check which will be deducted from the successful candidate's first salary payment. Charter of Commitment
