Executive Assistant Your new company Hays are working with a growing business in Shrewsbury who are looking to recruit an Executive Assistant on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role due to growth. Your new role As an Executive Assistant, your role will involve providing high-level administrative support to the executive team, ensuring efficient operation and effective communication within the organisation. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain executive schedules, including appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents. Coordinate and facilitate communication between executives and internal/external stakeholders. Organise and prioritise incoming information and requests, ensuring timely responses. Assist with project management tasks, including tracking deadlines and deliverables. Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism. Plan and coordinate events, meetings, and conferences. Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies and managing office equipment. Conduct research and compile data for reports and presentations. Provide support for special projects and initiatives as needed. What you'll need to succeed: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). The ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of discretion and confidentiality. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
