Grade 7 P12-19 £27,711 - £31,067 per annum

Hours:

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

The Role:

As a 2nd line Engineer, you will handle escalated jobs that 1st line engineers cannot resolve. You will need to be logical in your approach and, where required, deliver interim solutions while discussing and being aware of the wider implications with the team.

You will work within the Bedfordshire Hub team predominantly at Sharnbrook & The Ferrers school; however, there will be an expectation to travel to the core offices in Sawtry during the week. (Mileage compensated)

The Opportunity:

Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff & students across the trust.

Ensure IT support issues are followed through to completion, assisting colleagues to meet the service level agreement.

Assist with ensuring the trust's IT asset & procurement policies are enforced and regularly checked for compliance.

Keep up to date with new technology, advising and recommending where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate:

Good educational background including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.

Excellent knowledge of PC hardware.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows & Suite.

Working knowledge of a range of software packages.

Good knowledge and experience of working with Active Directory and Group Policy objects.
