Mechanical Fitter
Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (plus benefits and overtime potential) Working Hours: Monday - Thursday:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday:
8:00 am - 2:30 pm Total Hours:
38 hours per week Overtime:
Available on Saturdays (1.5x pay) and Sundays (2.0x pay) Holiday Entitlement:
25 days Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking to join a forward-thinking, dynamic company within the special-purpose machinery industry? We're looking for skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitters who have experience in mechanical fitting, ideally with a background in special-purpose or bespoke machinery. If you're a Mechanical Fitter with additional electrical fitting skills, that's a significant advantage, as these skills are frequently utilized in our daily operations. Mechanical Fitter Role and Responsibilities:
Perform component and specialist sub-assembly to high standards Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings Operate and use a variety of machine shop equipment Adopt a proactive approach to all tasks and challenges as a Mechanical Fitter Required Experience for the Mechanical Fitter Role:
Strong background in mechanical fitting (electrical fitting experience a plus) Experience in building special-purpose or bespoke machinery Benefits:
