Role Description:

You will be joining a small and close-knit team of technicians in the Industrial and Multi-Vendor Servicing department that provide traceable and accredited Calibrations compliant to ISO/IEC 17025 for over 2000 different products of different models and types. In order to do this, the successful candidate should possess a fundamental understanding of physics. A basic understanding of metrological principles is also desirable but not essential.

Due to the continuously expanding catalogue of calibration procedures, the desire and ability to learn new skills and to closely follow defined processes is critical.

Experience:

Using test and measurement equipment including Precision Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, and Multifunction Calibrators

Knowledge of test and measurement techniques and best practices.

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and fundamental PC skills will be required.

There is significant opportunity for growth within the role to encapsulate a wide range of understanding with regards to Metrological Principles to include but not limited to: Specification Conformity Calculation, Measurement Uncertainty Calculation, Guardbanding Principles, Test Uncertainty Ratios and manually validating measurements. In time, the ideal candidate will continue on to become an accredited signatory.

Further to this, an opportunity in a limited capacity is available within this role to assist with repairs of Industrial calibration products.
