WeDoData are working with an outstanding sixth form college in Herefordshire who are looking to appoint an IT Technician on a full-time, permanent basis.

The college is part of a wider multi-academy trust with close-knit IT departments that collaborate closely, offering lots of learning and development opportunities for the Technician along with opportunities to progress within the Trust.

My client is looking for a technically-minded, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual with a passion to learn and develop their IT skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. You would be working on 1st and 2nd line support with support from a friendly and welcoming team, reporting to the college's Deputy Network Manager.

Applicants must have:

Full Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship cannot be offered) Strong IT skills and experience Accuracy and care in their work A pro-active and professional approach Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service A friendly and approachable manner Willingness to learn

The following would be advantageous:

Experience working in a school, college or other educational setting A further qualification in IT (e.g. A-level, apprenticeship) Experience with Office365 Experience with MDM (mobile device management) Driver's license with own vehicle
