As a Systems Engineer, you will be working directly on our custom, proprietary engine. You will be working with the systems engineering team to develop our engine and data pipelines, dealing with large amounts of data and processing them efficiently for runtime. Our ideal candidate is an engineer with experience in different engine technologies and data pipelines, who is passionate about ensuring a great experience for players and content creators. Understanding how to process data effectively and efficiently is key to this role. This role is based at our state-of-the-art facilities in Royal Leamington Spa. We have a hybrid work model in place with a minimum of 3 days a week in the studio. Relocation assistance is available if required. What you’ll do:
Work on our custom, proprietary engine and the data pipelines that transform raw asset data into a game-ready format. Develop systems and pipelines, and get involved in foundational architectural decisions and implementation. Collaborate with our design teams to develop creative solutions to achieve their goals. What you’ll bring:
Engineering experience preferably within engine and data pipelines. C++ and software architecture skills. Passion for systems engineering and a desire to keep learning and staying on the cutting edge. A genuine passion for video games.
