Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Quality Manager on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities: Identification and management of appropriate quality and business management system OKRs throughout the business and working with functional heads to establish appropriate plans and management reviews of OKRs. Continual review of current business processes and practices against required regulatory standards, identifying and facilitating improvements in effectiveness and efficiency through functional heads. Effective communication of the CTQ (critical to quality) engineering requirements throughout the supply chain. Execute supplier audits from a customer OEM perspective. Develop and execute successful global internal audit programs and lead success in third-party system compliance audits. Provide consultation and coaching on best practices of QFD through FMEAs, control plans, and SOPs. Collect, review, and manage data for monthly BPM and MOR reviews. Complete customer and supplier surveys and questionnaires, including contract requirements and online system requirements. Develop and create quality plans, configuration plans, and procedures to meet bid or contract requirements. Mentor and develop quality team members. Support, facilitate, and lead CI activities such as Kaizen and implementing lean into processes and production. Skills and Qualifications: Six Sigma Quality Tools. Mentor on QMS/BMS. Audit experience and training. Ability to lead internal and external audits. Can interpret data and statistics. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of quality tools and techniques.
