ROLE PROFILE The WHY

To be the Merabi Fit Model. To ensure consistency in product development by acting as a fit model in all fit sessions for products under development. The role is required to provide commentary and critique about fit, sizing, and functionality, allowing the Garment Tech and wider teams designing and developing the product to ensure quality and construction. The role supports the product team with administrative support for all Product Teams.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITY The WHAT

Responsible for: Fit modelling to support Design, Garment Technologists, and Pattern Cutters. Providing commentary and critique of items fitted to enable our Fit Technicians to take measures and produce corrections to achieve Nadine Merabi’s fit standards. Providing feedback about the style, fit, and comfort of the garment as requested. Clearly communicating fit issues. Communicating to identify potential customer concerns about quality and fit. Chasing samples with factories/logging samples when they arrive. Organising samples ahead of a fit session and after to support the Pattern and Garment tech team. Generating Tech packs ready for completion. Providing general admin & administrative support to the product team. Accountable for: Organising samples for fitting. Communicating fit information with detail and accuracy - communicating the fit, feel, and comfort to achieve best samples and production. Consistent sizing across our product range.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE The HOW Staying within tolerance to the measurements of a size S on the Merabi size guide: Bust – 86cm Waist – 69cm Hip – 94cm Height - 5'6-5'7 Ability to communicate using technical language to describe fit, feel, and comfort. Prior experience in fit modelling for a fashion brand. Fluent in spoken and written English. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Highly organised. Great attention to detail. Confident, assertive, and proactive, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with people at all levels. Flexible approach to working and a happy-to-help attitude.

Preferred Skills & Experience: Technical knowledge and experience of garment construction and fit. Understanding of garment grading. Experience working with designer, luxury, or bridal brands. Experience in garment making and alterations. Passionate about the work and the role. Friendly and positive attitude. Able to work independently but enjoy working as part of a team. You will be determined to go the extra mile to achieve results.
