Care Assistant for a young woman with a physical disability living in the DH1 area - Durham - DH1
Female Care Assistant required to support a young woman with a physical disability (Huntington’s disease), who lives in the Newton Hall area of Durham.
We are looking for a Care Assistant to support a young woman with day-to-day activities, including some assistance with housework and accompanying her to social activities such as going out for coffee and shopping.
Hours / Wage:
£12.00 per hour
12 hours per week at 4 hours over 3 days. Preferably Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 11am – 3pm, which can be negotiated. It will also include covering for sickness and holidays.

Duties:
Light housework, including making the bed
Accompanying client to social activities locally such as coffee and shopping
Additional Requirements/Information:
Must like dogs as there are two friendly dogs at the property
Car driver required with own car
Client uses a wheelchair when out and about
Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost
