We are looking for experienced and ambitious PSV Mechanic to join Arriva, based at our Blyth Depot, a comprehensive commercial workshop with a great team ethos. As a PSV Mechanic, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency). As a team, we are dedicated to working towards delivering a safe, reliable, clean and efficient service to meet the needs of our customers. Our Engineering Team is a core function of our business, and each engineer's contribution goes a long way in ensuring all our vehicles operate in safe and roadworthy condition. Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA) Shift Work Required Qualifications:

Qualifications for HGV/PSV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent qualification (will require confirmation) A full UK driving licence (6 points or less) Ability to be passed fit for a pre-employment medical
