£25k – £35k dependant on experience (plus overtime, site and travel allowances) We are looking for an Installation Engineer to join our busy Technical Services department.

The role would suit someone looking to build upon their knowledge of the principles of high voltage insulation testing, gain professional qualifications, work on technically interesting equipment and who would enjoy travelling to countries across the world. The role requires up to 40% working in the field, including overseas and offshore travel. We offer excellent training plans to ensure everyone is working to the highest of standards. Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for: Installing and commissioning high voltage partial discharge sensors and plant monitoring solutions at a variety of global sites within Oil and Gas, Renewables and Utilities sectors. Interpreting specs and customer enquiries and designing technical proposals for customers. Acting as a Monitra ambassador to trade organisations/conferences. Producing customer reports. Assisting with data analysis. Must be legally authorised to work in the UK. Global travel required – up to 40%. Training:

Full training on our products and services will be provided. Minimum Requirements

A minimum of HNC/HND (ideally bachelors/masters) in an Engineering subject (or equivalent) or 5 years’ experience in industry. Knowledge of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment. Self-management of assigned projects. Experience in report writing is desirable. Must be legally authorised to work in the UK. Person Specification
