We have a role opening with an established and multi-disciplined Environmental Consultancy who are now seeking to take on a qualified Remedial Plumber. You will be attending Commercial, Industrial, Educational and Public Sector sites carrying out deadleg removals, removing, replacing, and re-routing pipework (copper & PVC), and carrying out fault finding on site. Holding experience carrying out Water Hygiene services would be beneficial to the role. Our client can offer cross training into various environmental sectors, generous holiday allowance, company pension scheme and a company vehicle.
Experience & Qualifications: Must hold the City and Guilds / NVQ l2 or higher in Plumbing. Will have extensive experience working as a Remedial Plumber for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella management company. Excellent communication skills. Will be able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
The Role: Attending a mixed portfolio of sites. Carrying out deadleg removals. Undertaking the removal, rerouting and replacement of copper and PVC pipework. Carrying out fault finding on site and ensuring to rectify any issues in a timely manner. Undertaking final checks on plumbing work, ensuring to sign off upon completion. TMV install, replacement & servicing. Updating onsite logbooks. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
