The Opportunity Based onsite at Glensanda, the largest granite quarry in Europe, we now have an opportunity for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join our existing large team of engineers. You will be based across this 6,000-acre site and will operate on a 7 on 7 off rotation. With the support of our existing maintenance team, you will become an expert in maintenance operations of large heavy plant. You will attend reactive maintenance calls across our fleet of 25 heavy mobile plant vehicles including Caterpillar 992 Wheel Loaders and 777G Dump Trucks. You will work on projects and PPMs to help keep our mobile plant equipment operational. For minor maintenance tasks, you will train and develop our onsite operators. With a focus on Health & Safety across our business, this role is no different; you will carry out all repairs safely and continue to maintain a hazard-free environment. Glensanda is only accessible via the Aggregate Industries ferry from Benderloch, so you could either do a daily trip or stop onsite in free en-suite accommodation. Who You Are You will have experience as a Fitter/Mechanic in either a Mobile Plant, HGV, or Forklift environment. You will be competent working with hydraulic equipment.
