Mechanical Manufacturing Technician required to assemble and test Oil and Gas downhole drilling equipment to the highest quality conforming to design specifications.

This is an onshore position joining an existing precision production department. Requirements: Vocational qualification in an engineering discipline ONC, HNC, HND or time served apprenticeship. Mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment. Able to interpret precision Engineering Drawings and prevent and solve problems in assembly. Electrical sensor test equipment exposure. Produce work at a continuous very high standard. Responsibilities: Mechanical assembly and testing of complex Electro-mechanical downhole drilling equipment. Testing of Electrical Assemblies. Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) activities. Factory Acceptance Testing.
